Sunday and 8pm to 8am out of hour’s service

You’ll be told how much you’ll be charged for each hour’s work the engineer does, including any diagnostic work needed. This rate won’t include any parts or equipment hire needed, or VAT.

Turnkey will charge you only for the time our engineers spend solving your problem. Our vans carry a large stock of everyday parts but If specialist parts are needed, we may charge up to one hour’s travelling time to collect them. Our engineers always try to minimise travelling time and use the nearest available supplier.

Our maximum markup on parts is 20%. This will be added on after we have passed on our supplier discounts.

Parts can be supplied by the customer BUT no guarantee can be given by Turnkey on those parts, any return visits will be chargeable if those parts prove to be faulty or fail.


Once our engineers have diagnosed and solved your problem, they will take payment by cash, cheque or debit/ major credit card.

Quotations and Estimates

Once the initial diagnosis is complete, our engineers will happily provide a fixed price for further work or, if you prefer, an estimate of how long the work will take to complete together with an hourly rate.


Work performed by Turnkey engineers, and the parts they supply, are guaranteed for one year. The only exceptions to this guarantee are if the work is a temporary fix requested by you, parts supplied by you and drain clearances.


We believe in always being 100% transparent. We are clear, upfront and honest about our company charges. Our rates are clearly shown on our website and our helpful and experienced staff, will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book a job or if they request details.

Our engineers will always show a full breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, and a comprehensive description of work carried out is shown on all invoices and estimates.


We will always take responsibility in the unlikely event that work is not carried out to our standards. If you are unhappy please call our office, we will try to resolve your issue by sending an engineer back at a time that is convenient to you.

Turnkey will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances.
